I like to steam greens and then put them in the blender and freeze in icecube trays. Then I store in ziploc baggies and add it to many savory dishes. My family is not fond of leftovers either - creativity is key!Christyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01129372114193004027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3617512364409300264.post-9137531446724195682011-03-03T23:59:00.443-05:002011-03-03T23:59:00.443-05:00Tightwad Mom,

Then I menu plan for stir-fry at least once that week, and use a full bunch then. I also use a couple stalks in scrambled eggs for breakfast, and menu plan to have baked potatoes and fish that week too. If I have leftover green onion after that, I chop and freeze it.

Basically, I make a point of buying produce that can serve several purposes throughout the week. Green onions are a good example, because they are often inexpensive.harperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14770855937135928799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3617512364409300264.post-19906044742298247132011-03-03T10:21:27.577-05:002011-03-03T10:21:27.577-05:00Wandeful,
