Freezer Cooking Frenzy

Be sure to sign up for my Le Creuset giveaway!
Wow, I sure was busy last week! I now feel like I can sit back and enjoy a little time off from cooking. I shared last week that I was freezer cooking, but I wanted to come back and share what all I got accomplished!

Some friends of ours are having their first baby, like any day now, and they have everything imagainable for the little guy.

I thought for a long time about a gift...

Then it came to me...

A freezer full of meals!!!!! Who wouldn't enjoy that?

I made a bunch and divided it up...well, except for the cookie dough...I gave it all to them!

I ended up with:

Stuffed Shells (4 dinners)

Spaghetti Pie (3 dinners)

Orange Teriyaki Chicken (4 dinners)

Pork Chops (3 dinners)

Chicken Tetrazzini ( 2 dinners)

Chicken Chimichangas (20)

Twice Baked Potatoes (7 dinners)

Hash Brown Casserole (2 dinners)

Blueberry Streusel Muffins (2 dozen)

Cookie Dough (4 dozen)

I will be back to share recipes as soon as I can cook them! The only recipe that is new to us is the Spaghetti Pie..so I know this stuff will be yummy!

Have you tried freezer cooking?

I can't wait to see the recipe. I am pregnant and really close to delivering. I want to put some meals back in the freezer I am just having a hard time picking what...your list looks great. So far I have two trays of lasagna in the freezer....but I would love to have at least 21 meals. I picked up some beef stew meat on sale and am trying to figure out if there is something I can do with it for freezer meals...I look so forward to seeing your recipes.

Cas,

It will be so nice if you can get your 21 meals made!

Beef stew meat goes great in vegetable soup, if you like that, and soup freezer great!

I have posted a few of the recipes before

What a GREAT gift Katie! As a mom, I loved getting meals from my church family and friends with each of my children and Cas, that is an AWESOME goal for you to have... a freezer full of food before you go into the hospital. It makes for quick healthy meals.
