How to Dice an Avocado

I could possibly be the last person on planet earth to learn how to correctly dice an avocado. Oh, I have diced avocados before but my lame efforts left my hands green and slime ridden. I am sharing this in case there are others out there suffering from slimy avocado hands...

First step is to cut the avocado in half...I am sure you could have guessed as much.


Next you want to take a sharp knife and whack the inside seed thingy. Is it a nut, seed, pit??? I really don't know what you call it...I don't suppose it really matters.

Ok, so now you need to slice it both ways...making little diced pieces.

Scoop out your diced and ready avocado! Isn't that cool? No more slimy hands!
