Buying Reduced Meats-Kitchen Tip

If you consider yourself a frugal shopper, chances are you stroll by the reduced meat area when you are grocery shopping. I know I always do!

In case you are like me and a little skittish when it comes to meat, I wanted to give you a safe guideline. If you can purchase meat and use/freeze within 2 days of the sell by date you are good.

If it has turned gray, is slippery, or has a strange odor...of course you should pass up the cheap meat...it is not a deal if you end up sick!!!

Thanks for sharing such a great tip! It is always better to be safe than sorry! I love the reduced meat section at the grocery store. I have gotten some great deals.
