Faith of a Foodie

I am amazed that the more I read in the Bible, the more "favorite" verses I have. I thought I would share one this week...

"Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning, Great is Your faithfulness." - Lamentations 3:22-23

What encouraging verses these are. If it were not for God's mercies and compassion on us we would have no hope. Jeremiah wrote here that His mercies are new every morning. This is not something that is a one time deal...it is each and every morning...God is so faithful to us.

What is your favorite Bible verse and why???

Praise the Lord for His precious mercies! What a beautiful reminder that He is a compassionate and forgiving God... Thank you for sharing.

I too have a LONG list of favorites... but, if I had to narrow it down to one, it would be Nahum 1:7 which says "The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him".

my favorite verse is from Hebrews 12." Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning it's shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." I always want to praise God for His perfect plan, when I recall these verses
