After a good old freezer cleaning last week, I have a good list of what needs to be used up. So...I am basing this week's menu on that!!! It is a little heavy on the beef, but what can I say...it needs to be used up :)
Just writing the meals without days and getting to them when I can has been working out well. Surprisingly, I have been sticking to them better that way.
Spaghetti Pie (missed this due to a picnic...I forgot about)
Beef Enchiladas(freezer), Refried Beans
Harvest Pot Roast, Green Beans
Quiche Lorraine, Salad or Fruit
Steak, Creamed Spinach, Veggies
What is on your menu this week?

I do the same thing with my menu, I don't specify specific days, and it works out much better for me. Great looking menu. :)
Thanks April...I always felt so pressured to make the meal of the day actually fit in the day...and sometimes it just doesn't work out that easily!
in the past i have made a m-sunday thing but if I skip them around a bit I dont feel like i failed so I think doing this is great too!
Usually by the end of the month we are eating from the pantry. :) Up tonight though is Taco Chicken... a new recipe, so I am curious to see how it turns out.
I like the list of meals and if it works for you that is GREAT! I tend to write the whole month ahead, and then pick meals from that weekly based on what the week is looking like. Works for me... and our budget. :)
I have nothing stocked up in my freezer since we just moved and it's not making me happy. I need a good sale!
Misty, I am excited to hear how your chicken turned out...let me know!
Connie, yeah...a sale is a must when it comes to freezer cooking. I hope you get a good sale soon!
