Menu Plan Monday - Thanksgiving

Here we are...the week of Thanksgiving! Is it just me or has this year just flown by? I feel so behind this year...I have got to get on it...Christmas is right around the corner!!

This week there really won't be much cooking going on in my kitchen. We have somewhere we have to be every night this week. Honestly, after getting back from the cruise I feel like I should fast or something. I really don't want to see or think about any more food. Who would ever think you could get tired of mashed potatoes or bread? Simply crazy.

Monday- Soccer Banquet

Tuesday- Out for our Anniversary

Wednesday-Chicken Parmesan (freezer...we never seem to get to this)

Thursday- Thanksgiving (Yay! I am making desserts!)

Friday- Chicken Chili

Saturday- Steak, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans

Sunday- Out to Eat

So, are you in charge of cooking Thanksgiving dinner?

I am glad you are back. :) You were missed! I AM in charge of cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year (can you believe it?!) I am actually looking forward to it. I have learned and grown SO much in the kitchen this year... strange that my Christmas list now includes kitchen gadgets and cookbooks I actually INTEND to use! haha. Thank you so much for inspring me in the kitchen girlie! :)

Misty,

Your dad is going to be flabbergasted this year by his scarf obsessed, apron wearing, gourmet cook of a daughter!! Ha ha!!

Can Ry get off her cake-kick for long enough to help you make a pumpkin pie?

A cruise? How fun. Happy anniversary. Still sounds like a great week for meals at your house.
I am cooking Thanksgiving dinner, but this year my hubby will have to cook the turkey.

Sounds like a fun week! I am only in charge of mac and cheese (which I'm making from your site!), rolls, and a pecan pie. We'll be with my in-laws and they make a crazy good chocolate pie with Hershey bars and heavy cream and such for the chocolate lovers. What desserts are you making?

Tiffanee, good luck with the dinner! I am sure it will be wonderful!

Bitterroot Mama,

Oh, that dessert has me drooling...I love anything chocolate!!

I am making apple crisp and something else...either pecan pie bars or cranberry orange cheesecake bars? No new recipes this year!

Have a great Thanksgiving!
