Menu Plan Monday

This past week has been a whirlwind of a week. You know...those weeks when you don't get any laundry done. Am I the only one who has weeks like that sometimes? All of my cleaning and computer stuff has been put off for this week. I am thinking with this bad weather we are supposed to get here in Cincinnati that I will be able to catch up on everything this week.

My sister is planning her wedding so my days have been filled with trying on 5,325 bridesmaids dresses, picking out flowers, favors, catering appointments...and all of that kind of stuff! There is a ton of stuff to plan...and since there isn't much time to get this together...we are really busy!

I will just say laundry wasn't the only thing I didn't get to...my menu plan kind of fell apart, too. At least we had enough food on hand to throw some quick meals together instead of resorting to eating out all the time.

Monday: Mandarin Chicken Salad
Tuesday: Steak, Sweet Potatoes, and Salad
Wednesday: Grilled Chicken, Broccoli and Cauliflower
Thursday: Pot Roast, Corn, Green Beans
Friday:Out to Eat
Saturday: Chili, Salad
Sunday: Super Bowl...not sure what we are doing

Does your menu plan ever get off track like mine?

My menu plan does get sidetracked as well, it seems like the more I plan, the more life comes up. :) As usual, your menu sounds YUMMY! :) Although, Thursday is girls' night out, not pot roast. :) Just kidding...

Oh, I can't wait to hear about the mandarin Chicken Salad... YUM!

More and more of my weeks are turning into nothing gets done, but craziness weeks. If I could just add about ten more hours to the day!!! I like your menu choices this week. Pot roast sounds delish. I have had that in forever!!

Mine definately gets off track. With two teenage girls and a husband in education administration it's just gonna happen! :) I just roll with the punches and move things around on the menu when it does. Part of it is my fault too, because I like to cook to match the weather and sometimes my food!!!!!!

I can imagine your busy schedule! I can totally understand matching the weather to food...I sometimes do the same!!
