I am noticing a theme here...oatmeal and chocolate last year...and oatmeal and chocolate this year! I guess I am really digging the oatmeal cookie :)
Rice Krispie Hearts...with Chocolate
You haven't had rice krispie treats until you have added chocolate to them. Want an ever better treat...add Nutella on top!
A Frugal Valentine's Cookie Container
It doesn't get much more frugal than this. Use the oatmeal container...making the above cookies, of course, and re purpose the container for transporting the cookies to your Valentine! Decorate the container with some paper and craft stuff you have on hand and it turns out pretty cute. If you are anything like me, you have a plethora of scrapbook stuff...in a scrapbook room...and you really don't even scrapbook!

Thanks for the ideas. They're just in time! I wanted to make a dessert for my hubby and just happen to have Rice Krispies on hand. The hearts would be perfect!
