Menu Plan Monday

I hope you all had a nice Easter Sunday!

I'm just sitting down to plan my menu for the week, and "light" is the word of the week. I have eaten too much junk lately and need to get it back under control. Not always fun, but so needed.

We have been experiencing mass amounts of rain here in Ohio. I am SO beyond tired of it. I'm ready for some nice spring weather and lots of grilling. I am on the search for a new marinade recipe. I love my orange teriyaki, but it is time to add something new to the mix.

Monday- Spicy Steak Salad

Tuesday- Orange Teriyaki Chicken, Grilled Veggies, Salad

Wednesday- Naked Burgers, Broccoli Slaw

Thursday- Barbecue Turkey Meatloaf, Mashed Cauliflower, Peas

Friday- Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, fresh fruit

Saturday- Out to Eat

Sunday- Breakfast for Dinner...not sure what

What is your favorite marinade for chicken?

Yum! Sounds delicious as usual! I agree on the word of the week. We have been a little crazy around our house lately.

We like all things spicy with garlic for our marinades.

We are on the same page! Light is in my vocabulary beginning this week too! Guess it's true what they say about great minds... LOL!

We just made the Orange Teriyaki Chicken on Saturday... Poor Tim got caught in ANOTHER downpour in the middle of grilling.

Before your blog, our standby marinade, was italian dressing... :)

I am so over this rain!! A different marinade?! Hard to top the best!! I use to use some others but can't remember what they were. Once I started with the Orange Teriyaki I was hooked.

@ Tiffanee: I wish you luck on keeping things "light". It sure is hard when you love to cook, isn't it?

@ Phoebe: We're with ya...we like spicy too!

@ Misty: Chicken with Italian dressing is pretty good...especially when you don't have time to whip anything up!

@ Kimi: Awww, thanks! I'm glady your family loves it. I know, we are pretty hooked on the orange teriyaki too.

Phoebe,

You are missing out. It is mine, and evidently others, favorite marinade. I have a clickable link to the recipe up in my menu plan. It is a great freezer recipe!!
