Mamaw's Cheese Ball

Mamaw's cheeseball is the only cheeseball I make. It has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. The recipe is often requested, and the best part is that it is sooo simple to make. Sometimes I substitue ingredients, too. You can switch the minced onion for green onion and so on. My friend Mary, wanted me to post a recipe that even she can do. This is absolutely foolproof, so Mary, this one's for you!!!

1-8 oz. block cream cheese, room temperature
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 tablespoon milk
few drops of liquid smoke (you can substitute Worcestershire sauce)
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 package sliced beef, chopped (found near the pre-packaged lunch meat, I use the Carl Budding brand)

Once cream cheese is at room temperature add in all the ingredients and stir until mixed. (you can use a mixer or a good old fashioned spoon) Shape into a ball and refrigerate until well chilled.
