Children's Dessert Auction

I thought I would share a picture of one of the cakes I made this weekend! You may remember those nine baby shower cakes I did back in February, this is really similar to them! I had some leftover candy "stuff" and decided to do it again...after all, I like candy...and kids like candy! (I really can do more than candy cakes, that just seems to be the only cakes that appear on here)

Our church had a dessert auction Sunday night to raise money for our children. You could donate money to a great cause and take some goodies home with you. You can't beat that!

The whole auction raised $1,300! My cake brought in $220! There were so many yummy homemade desserts there-cupcakes, cakes, cookies, homemade cinnamon rolls-just to name a few.

I was so happy to participate, the kids are really going to benefit from the money raised!
